#No romance here, no sexual jealousy. #She said she is going to TAKE WATSON, and that is what Sherlock is always the most afraid of. #Not having his best friend around with him all the time. #He doesn’t want anyone to take the only person he’s ever been attached to with any real certainty. #So he laughs it off as his usual defence mechanism, #but the smile fades because he realizes she’s right. #She will take him away. #Watson will move out. #Sherlock will once again be alone. #And he used to be good at that, it was how he lived. #But since being around Watson and having him there all the time, he’s not sure he remembers how to be alone. #Still, he won’t admit that, so his defence turns on and he tries to act like he can handle this. #Because normal people settle down and get married, but he doesn’t want that. #He just wants himself, his job, and his best friend.
