Dude, I WANT you to respond to all my posts incessantly. Except the Russian jokes, PEOPLE ARE DEAD, DONNA.
Oh, Erin, I am way past that point with you. There’s not faking it involed and I have not shame with you, as you have clearly seen.
Also, my Russian revolution jokes are hilarious that is an inrasputinable fact.

SECONDING THIS forever and ever. I ship some dysfunctional pairings but I do my best to not sugarcoat or ignore their dysfunction. I like them as they are.
nerdfighter13812 replied to your post: luanna255 replied to your post: I think some…
Seriously, this coming from someone who ships Rumbelle, it’s not a good thing. At least with Rumbelle he genuinely cares about her and respects her wishes if she tells him to back off. Mad Love is one of the most messed up ships.
And as long as people state that out-right, I’m fine with it! But when they go making excuses and justifications my tolerance levels plummet.
I think some people just ship dysfunctional pairings as they are. I have a few (a very few) myself. And I’m very upfront about it: I get the issues, I wouldn’t want them together in real life, but in fiction it’s compelling. What bothers me is when people pretend the dysfunction isn’t there, or - worse - romanticize it, like you’re saying here. The idea that abuse is ‘more romantic’ makes me shudder.

YES. THIS. I consider them a classic example of a domestically abusive relationship.

Ugh I agree their relationship is terrible. I’m glad the reboot kinda took care of that

Ok, I seriously have to agree here. He takes advantage of her, he uses her constantly, and even if a small part of him cares about her, he is NOT good for her mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Can’t blame the boy. If I had his powers, I’d probably do the same.

No, actually I just really wanted to use that GIF.

THANK YOU FOR PLANNING TWINS NOT DEFINED BY THEIR TWINNESS
I’m super excited about him/them. And only one of them is the main character so that’s another thing you don’t see much with twins and I think it will be cool. (But I also keep finding reasons to pull her into the story because I love her.)

I MEANT ROBOT CLONES!!!

otakusapien replied to your chat: Teddy: Why do they [the media] make identical…
INCORRECT! We are fraternal twins and genetically different.
I didn’t know you guys are fraternal. The more you know! But regardless, you will note that I was talking about identical twins.
nerdfighter13812 replied to your chat: Teddy: Why do they [the media] make identical…
It’s true. They are. But I still complain when they treat genetic clone to mean the same exact person.
No, I totally agree 138%. I was actually the one who brought that up because I’m working with a friend to design a character who happens to be a twin and we’re working to show that while they are close, neither is defined by their twinness. I just found that funnier than I should have.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AVATAR-MOM!!!
One of the loveliest ladies I’ve ever known since the ATLA days, whose generosity, sweetness and kindness has helped me through many tough emotional times, and whose fangirl energy has recharged my fanbattery many-a time!
I miss you, lady! I remember during our Avatar fan NYC comic con adventures, I drew a scribbly crap version of this drawing and I always felt bad that I couldn’t make it prettier with more feelings. So I wanted to revisit this moment and this memory ;w;

See guys, Erin gets it.
But anyway I have recently decided that shipping people (real breathing people) together is really weird and pretty creepy.
First of all, shipping people who are friends and don’t want to be romantic is uncomfortable at best and down-right disturbing at worst. But even when we’re talking “canon” couples, it’s weird. When I was deciding to break it off with my boyfriend of four years I actually thought “so many people will be disappointed — we were their OTP” and really guys, that’s not cool. That decision was laborious enough to make, and though in the end it didn’t really play into my final choice, I shouldn’t have had that additional pressure to start with.
guys
at least hes honest
He’s a different person to his brother. Let’s please not judge him harshly based on what Cole did.
Yeah, guys, I mean they can’t both be the evil twin.

I appreciate your griffin and the hat she wears.

Fun fact: when I was in ninth grade I would wear that hat to school on a semi-regular basis. Yep. I was that girl.
