I’m seriously worried about Dick in the reboot, because what happened to his wide circle of friends? The Dick who knew basically everybody in the superhero community? Whose death, if it had actually happened, would have sent shockwaves through it?
We haven’t seen any Donna, Wally, Garth, Joey or Raven. Plus, it’s still confusing and unknown if the original Teen Titans were formed at all. He’s presumably never been in a team with Vic or Gar either. Roy is always talking about how Starfire and Jason are his only friends. Starfire doesn’t seem to remember him, and they at least don’t seem to be keeping in contact.
Jason is still cut off from the Batfamily. Now that Tim was never a Robin, who knows where his entire mentor/brotherly relationship with Dick went? Cass is nowhere to be seen. Bruce is being Bruce (and punching him in the face) and Helena is dead. I guess he still has Alfred, Damian and Barbara?? I’m not sure though, given I haven’t been keeping up with Batgirl.
Haly’s Circus childhood friends attacked him. Haly’s Circus owner dead. What about his friends on the force in Bludhaven?
Is he still friends with Clark? (if he isn’t, I will PEE ON EVERYTHING DC LOVES)
I’m forgetting people because Dick befriended just so many. DC please fix this, it is making me sad :(

Damian? Damian is currently in middle of pulling this little stunt:
Not to mention that it’s unclear if Dick and Damian’s time as the Dynamic Duo is even still canon, so the relationship between them may well have been completely retconned out of existence. One way or another, Damian certainly seems to have lost the respect and affection he once had for Dick.
Babs? Well, Babs has made it quite clear that she wants Dick to leave her alone:
And frankly, this girl doesn’t even much resemble the woman that Dick loved, anyway - even before you get to the fact that their entire romantic relationship has been wiped off the face of continuity. Pre-reboot, they weren’t together, but were friends who were close and supported each other. Post-reboot, Babs doesn’t seem to want him around, and she’s barely even acting like her old self at all. So I don’t think you could honestly say Dick still has Babs, either.
So who does that leave? Exactly one person. Out of the huge circle of friends and loved ones Dick had built up over the years:
Jesus. No wonder poor Dick’s hugging him so tightly. Alfred is pretty much the only one he’s got left at this point.
(Though to be fair, Bruce has admittedly gotten better since the whole punching-Dick-in-the-face incident.)
